Trick or Treating October 31st, 2011

We went trick or treating with Ryan, Elizabeth, Walker, and Lewis Russell in Oak Meadows. We had a blast.  Ryan hooked a trailor up to his gator, so we have our own hayride! The kids loved it!  Aimee, Chris, Regan, Riley and Harrison also joined us.  The kids got a pumpkin full of candy!
Walker and Thomas ready to roll!

Lyla Claire was not so sure about riding on the trailor, but once she understood what trick-or-treating really was, she liked it!

Hmm.... what do I want??

Paxton 10-30-2011

Paxton is growing and changing everyday!  I forgot how quickly these baby days fly by...

Big boy sitting in his bumbo seat
And yes, I kiss those chubby cheeks all day long!  I could eat him up!

LEAVES!

Our kids love to play in the leaves!  They beg us to rake piles of leaves, so they can run and jump in them.  Nov 8th was a perfect, warm day so we played outside all day long! The kids had a blast, but Kenny was worn slap out!
Little snuggle bug!

Where is Thomas?

Downtown Tupelo Trick or Treat

Thursday, October 27th we took Thomas and Lyla Claire downtown to trick or treat.  There were several stores that were giving out candy. I was actually disappointed because there were lots of store and businesses that did not participate.  The kids still had fun and got some good candy.  We saw Johnny, Danielle, and Anne Cambria while we were there.

She asked to wear these out trick-or-treating. I said "No", so she put them on as soon as we got back home! I love that girly girl!!

Singing a song and being silly

Thursday, October 27th was the Halloween parties at First United Methodist Preschool. It was a lot of fun to see all the kids dressed up.  Lyla Claire was a fairy/butterfly and Thomas was a policeman. He was hilarious!  His costume had a whistle, hand cuffs, badge, and walkie talkie.  Lyla Claire wore a pink tutu and some pink wings.  She was not really into her costume... more about being "prissy".

Circle Y Pumpkin Patch

On October 11th, I went with Thomas' preschool class to the Circle Y Pumpkin Patch.  It was a lot of fun! The kids enjoyed a nice playground, petting zoo, inflatable bouncers, and a wagon ride out to the "pumpkin patch" ...also known as a big field with pumpkins thrown everywhere.  (A fungus invaded the actual pumpkin patch, so they had to buy pumpkins and literally throw them onto the ground.)  Thomas loves Mrs. Susie and Ms. Kaylee!  I am so thankful for such fun teachers!

Petting Zoo
The kids got in there with the animals. Notice-- I am taking pictures on the other side of the fence.  I am not a real fan of 'farm' surroundings and smells.

Two Peas in a Pod... what will we do if Griffin and Thomas are ever separated. Griffin is truly Thomas'
 best buddy!

I made Thomas get this pumpkin for me. I just thought it looked so unique!

I am so, so thankful that Kenny allows me to stay home with our kids so I can make precious memories with our children.  These preschool years are going by way too fast!  Time, please stand still.
