Fourth of July!

With the impending arrival on Paxton, we laid fairly low on the 4th of July weekend this year. It was much needed relaxation with family and friends... and of course, good food!

Thomas holding his rocket from the fireworks stand!  He was devastated when we shot it and then there was no more rocket!

Harrison, Riley, Regan, Mills, Mason, Mary Dillard, Morgan, Thomas, and Lyla Claire

Watching Big Daddy do fireworks! Big Daddy always provides us a fabulous show of fireworks!

Fireworks too loud. I not like them!
Sitting inside getting a back rub after a long, sweaty day outside

Bath Time!

Thomas and Lyla Claire love taking a bath together!  Much to my mother's disapproval, they take a bath together about 5 out of 7 nights... they love entertaining each other even though sometimes it can get a little messy.  I realize that I probably need to stop bathing them together ... especially since Thomas is noticing "differences" ... HA HA!

Swimming Lessons 2011

Thomas and Lyla Claire took swimming lessons from Shelley Miller. Thomas loved it! Lyla Claire liked it...but she like to do the "dead man's float" more than actually learning to swim.  Thomas learned to swim independently and jump off the diving board.  I am so glad he took b/c he is a good, confident swimmer now!  It makes taking them to the pool much, much more fun.  Here are some pics of Thomas... I did not get any of Lyla Claire.

SanDestin June 4-10, 2011

We went to SanDestin with our dear friends, the Wootens! It was a blast.  Thomas and Lyla Claire loved the beach and the pool, of course.  Lyla Claire thought she was 6 years old like Marley Grace... and Thomas and Griffin had loads of fun being boys all week long!  We ate at AJ's and Pompano Joe's, went to Baytowne Wharf Village on kids' night, played Putt-Putt Mini Golf, and had a blast at the Track!  Our kids were exhausted by night time, and it was fairly evident... a little whining.. but we made the best of every minute we were there!  Vacation just goes by way too fast... we are already counting down until next summer!  (even though Kenny is hoping to take us back in early October... maybe so!)
Please excuse these tons and tons of pictures to follow....but since this is going to be my kids' scrapbooks..I don't want to miss anything!

Two peas in a pod watching the boats come in @ AJ's

Do I need to explain how she truly felt about this swimsuit?

Lyla Claire was such a Daddy's girl on the beach trip.... except at naptime and bedtime!

These 3 are fascinated with the 2 people who are doing the gigantic swing thing at The Track!  Look at their faces. I truly love the excitement of children.

This was about the only thing Lyla Claire was tall enough to ride at The Track, but she did not care. She would have ridden it all night long.

Riding in the spinning ride... She was not so sure at first, but she ended up liking it.

Of course, big brother loved EVERY ride!

I am partial... but he is so dang cute!

And again, she was not so sure about this....

Girls would die for those eyelashes!  He loves a camera!
Must document... 32 weeks prego with Paxton!

Yes, he did. He rode the bull. Pics for proof!

Giving Daddy some sweet, sweet sugar!

Watching fireworks at Baytowne Wharf ... Baytowne Wart as Thomas calls it.  Got to love the little guy!

She loved the beach... sand... water... and especially the waves.

Free sinus cleanse!

Mini-Golf at SanDestin

LC's favorite part was getting the ball out of each hole.

Thomas loves golf!

TCBY is great after a hot round of mini-golf.  I think I went to TCBY 3 or 4 times while in Destin.  We need one so bad in Tupelo!

This golf cart was great!  All 8 of us piled onto it every day.... took it to the beach... Baytowne Wharf Village... and anywhere else we wanted to go!  It was so much fun.

What IS this Marley Grace??

Thank goodness for construction vehicles and sand.

No Thomas and Lyla Claire... the DO NOT WALK OR RUN ON SAND DUNES sign does not pertain to yall... Go ahead... Run all over them.... They are not for research purposes.  (I am sure you can sense my sarcasm.)

Need I say more?
